Colours & Finishes
A common misconception with shutters is that they will block light out of your room, this is where colour choice can be important. A very popular choice is to use one of our shades of white, letting the shutter louvres pull light into the room.
It’s not all about the white though, we have a range of 23 painted colours and a further 27 stain options. If that wasn’t already enough, we also have a custom colour option. With this we can match most brand name paint colours, or even match a bespoke colour of your choice.

Tilt-Rods
For operating your shutters you can choose from our 2 options of the traditional style including a wooden tilt rod either centrally placed or offset to the left/right.
Or the more modern choice of our Silent Tilt option, without any bars at all, giving a stylish elegance to the shutters.

Louvre Sizes
We have 5 different louvre sizes available to you 47mm, 63mm, 76mm, 89mm, or 114mm.
Louvre size is relatable to how much privacy/light you want to control in the room but is very much a personal choice.

Mid-Rails
Mid-Rails are a solid horizontal dividing rail, often used to add strength to taller panels. But also allow us to design the shutter so that the louvres in the top and bottom of the panel can operate independently.
Alternatively, to give you this versatility without the mid rail, we can use our Silent Tilt mechanism and split the control at any point you specify. The benefit of independent louvre control top and bottom is the ability to provide maximum privacy whilst maintaining light in the room.

Hardware
Hinge colour and hardware is one of the last choices to make on your plantation shutter journey. They can be discreet and be colour matched to your shutters, or alternatively they can be contrasted with a nickel plated or brushed nickel hinge. A very little detail but add to the Final Touch of your shutter.
