MOTORISATION OPTIONS

We specialise in motorisation options for you and can connect all indoor and outdoor products to enable ease of use and full automation. We use premium quality Somfy motors for the majority our installations with a full 5 year warranty. When choosing powered blinds the motor is certainly not something to be compromised on. After using varied motors over the years we have come to trust Somfy with a high overall quality, durability and quietness through extended use.

When choosing motors for your new blinds there are 3 main options, which will usually be decided by your specific installation, what stage you are at and the options for power connection.

Li-ion Battery Powered Motors
DC 12v/24v Powered Motors
AC 240v Powered Motors

BLIND CONCEALMENT

Motorised Blinds are a fantastic way to create shade and privacy when needed, but the main benefit is the ability to fully expose the windows when not in use. That is where our Blindspace concealment options come into play, either completely hiding the blind or turning it into a striking feature piece of your room.

To achieve the cleanest look with concealment, Blindspace or self created recesses are superior but are quite an intrusive installation if not in build or renovation stage. The next best option and most common is to use Cassettes or Fascia's to install with the blinds turning the concealment into a feature piece.

ELECTRIC BLIND CONTROLS

"Hey Google, Good Morning" This simple phrase can be set-up to perform a multiple of tasks from starting the morning news broadcast, opening your motorised blinds and even brewing a coffee for you. Using a Somfy Tahoma we can link all of your motorised blinds or awnings to integrate with Google, Alexa or Apple Homekit to whatever command you decide.

This is a common set-up our customers opt for but there are a wealth of options available. As standard all our motorised blinds will come with either a remote or wireless wall switch for control. There are also options for app control and full smart home automation with the leading systems such as Lutron, Control4, Crestron, Elan, and Savant.

They arrived on time and were very respectful of our house, ie taken their shoes off and cleaning up when they had finished. The blinds were fitted in the time estimated and as per quoted. We used Final Touch Blinds and Shutters to have wooden Venetian blinds fitted in our bay window and they were amazing! Adam is really friendly, provided a great service (he even brought wet wipes to wipe away left over dust after hoovering) and the quality of the blinds are amazing! I’d definitely recommend! “Adam fitted some bay window blinds to our new house. He took the time to visit our house while it was being constructed and measure up to make sure it was a perfect fit and was able to work perfectly with our tight timelines. Communications were first rate and Adam is a really decent guy. The quality of the final product is superb and we will be using Adam again if we need any additional blinds fitting. Thanks again!” (Checkatrade)
