GABLE WINDOW BLINDS

Gable end windows or apex windows are a fantastic way to bring the most amount of light into your home. Architects and manufacturers are pushing the boundaries more and more with these breath-taking feature windows.

Gable windows bring particular challenges for shading which often require a more specialist approach, we thrive on the out of ordinary and thoroughly enjoy a challenging install.

We will always work with you to achieve the desired result whether that be a blackout solution for a bedroom feature window or simply shading for a modern hallway. Our aim is always to accentuate the focal points of your home without detracting from the main goals of the design.

GABLE BLIND TYPES

The most popular product for triangular shaped windows are our free-hanging Duette cellular blinds. These blinds use a honeycomb shaped cellular fabric which is perfect for insulation, heat control and privacy but has the benefit of stacking away tightly to the top of your recess. Alternatively it can also be completely hidden within one of our blind concealment systems such as blindspace.

There are various factors that can affect the blind choices available such as inwards opening windows or doors, location of window mullions or obstructions such as beams and opening gears. We can always offer solutions which overcome these. Bottom up cellular blinds are a common solution to work around these issues, but there are also options with plantation shutters, roller blinds or even exterior blinds.

GABLE BLIND CONTROLS

Gable Window Blinds can be manual when smaller in size using either standard cords or our smart-cord retractable system. When bigger or out of reach these can then be motorised using Li-Ion battery or a 240v system. We predominantly use Somfy motorisation within our shaped blinds as we always want our blinds to last without issue. With this we offer a full 5 year warranty on all our motorisation. See our electric blinds for full motorised options.
